Are cybersec people involved in Afghanistan war ?

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if there are any way we can fight Talibans policy by hacking their communications, systems etc…
We see a lot of bad things happening in Afghanistan these days but I’ve never see cybersec people discussing or being involved in this war.

It’s obvious that there are some cybersec people working for governements who are involved but other people (like me) who are just in cybersec and not into politics but what’s going on in Afghanistan is terrible and I think that a lot of people could be engaged.

Maybe I’m missing something, but I’m just curious…
Does it seems possible to create a big group of people to fight for human rights using the knowledge in cybersecurity ?

P.S. : I took Talibans topic because it’s the actual news but it could have been another war group or another cause, I’m just wondering why I don’t see anyone being active on politics

The US government doesn’t want you screwing up its battlespace, whether it’s online or in-country.

So unless and until you get clearance, this is a strong no-go.
