I write cybersecurity content on a freelance basis for various businesses. I am not technically adept, however, I excel at writing high-level overviews of various cyber attacks and solutions. In short, I help cybersecurity companies resonate with their target audiences.
The problem is that freelance writing is quite unstable. I am posting here to try and get some advice on whether there might be a more stable type of role for me within cybersecurity that I could pivot into. Are there any roles like a cybersecurity reporter who writes reports about cybersecurity incidents etc? Or would I be better off starting from scratch and trying to become a cybersecurity analyst via either helpdesk or a master’s degree? Thanks.
