Asking for referral from Professor? Sending him email, wanted to know if it sounds okay

So I found out one of my professors from this semester works at this cybersecurity company and, as I just graduated, I wanted to ask him for a referral (not outright tho, atleast talk about it with him in hopes that he could help me out). I would love for an opportunity to interview at this company! I was thinking of sending him this email below, but before I did, I wanted to make sure it comes across as okay:

Good morning Professor,

I hope this email finds you well. I was in [his course’s name] this semester. I just graduated from the [exact program name at my college] and, as I recall that you work here, I just wanted to reach out and ask if there were any upcoming or new positions for new grads at [company name]? I believe it would be a great opportunity for me that would allow me to grow my skills in the cybersecurity field!

Thank you for everything,

[my name]

What do you guys think? I’ll take any suggestions!!!
