I get a email from google: “Critical Security Alert, it is possible that someone may have accessed yout google account from one of your devices. You have been disconnected”
And rightfully i got intrigued. So i go home and find out that my laptop was appearantly the malicious one.

Its a fresh install of windows 11, and apart from discord and spotify there is no other app that isnt Windows. I had been using avast for a month or so, so i decided to make a scan, and it tells me nothing of malware, but that there are possible spies, Leaked IP adress yadda yadda, and to fix them, i need to pay for premium. Usually i wouldnt enter my info for that but since there was my personal info at stake, i decided to put my card for a free trial.

I enter my data, and i get told to secure it, (First time ive seen it happen, not even Google asked me that) with fingerprint/face ID, but neither of those even appeared, so then i tried a OTP SMS. I put the info, i get told “Transaction processing”, and it rolls me back to the security page, i try again, same shit.

All i wanted to do was to fix the issues on my laptop because appearantly it was bugged, but Avast would much rather annoy me to death asking for my card info. I swear if you are looking for a anti-virus, avoid Avast. It seems sketchy and barely works.
