Best Type of Raspberry Pi To Pentest and make tools?

So, I got serious in the field a few months ago (cybersecurity) and I want to learn a little of everything and get my hands in things.

Raspberry Pi caught my attention and I did a lot of research but I failed in finding a post or something related to what type of Raspberry Pi should someone with these intentions choose.

I want to know if for example, a Raspberry Pi zero is already enough for pentesting tools and actually better because of the size or if I will need something with more power like a Raspberry pi 3,4.

I hope you guys can help! Thanks in advance

You haven’t done nearly enough research if you are asking these questions. Raspberry Pi 3 is plenty to get your hands on learning different pentesting scenarios. There isn’t a best type per se, because different scenarios will have different requirements.

Depends on what you want to do. A raspberry pi is ARM based so the usual shell code you find for rev shells won’t work for that.
If you want to get better at security, compete in CTFs or try hackthebox or tryhackme.
