    Nothing. Government cyber defense is still in an antiquated mindset.

    When Cyber Command (aka NSAs DOD Branch) wants to launch offensive attacks, they prioritize specific operators as the core of the strategy. When defensive strategies are taken, it’s always, “what system can we upgrade” or “what new security device can we buy?”

    Until the strategy starts with picking specific analyst for specific divisions and allowing them to be utilized in a reverse capacity as you would an offensive operation, you’re just kicking the can.
