I’ve currently been doing research on new careers and cyber security is at the top of my list at the moment.

Interestingly enough, I’ve come across YouTube videos and articles about burnout for those in tech. More around software engineers and etc. I’m wondering if a security analyst role has created burnout for you all?

I know burnout is different for anyone and any role can create burnout. I also think what kind of person you are and the role your doing can be a bad match which can create burnout too. For me, customer/patient centered jobs has burnt me out but I’d like to hear about your experience. If you have experienced burnout, why?

I agree it depends on the company and the culture, I was previously in a international company it just really sucked the life out of me being in their cyber security group. I’m in a much smaller company now and I can’t be any happier, one skill everyone needs to learn his time management, once you manage that.. That will alleviate some of the burn out.

Hello, probably far less than devs, there is no “Crush” but if you are in a bad company, it will be like anywhere,
