Can a site where you “like” a video track my IP?

There is a site where some places post some homemade commercials and the one with the most “likes” wins. Will they be able to track if one person keeps liking it from their same computer? I suspect someone isn’t playing totally fair but I want to know if that’s something they can track before I call them out. And if they can, is there a way that they may have turned it off as to avoid being called out like this?

As soon as you connect to a website your ip is visible(no button clicking required) but yes there are ways to hide it like using a vpn or some networks change ip when you restart router.
