Capitol attack’s cybersecurity fallout: Stolen laptops, lost data and possible espionage
“it’s possible to open up the skins of a tower PC, shove a USB stick into an open internal port, and seal the thing back up in a minute or two. These might never be detected.”
I have to ask, is this person saying opening up a PC and there being a USB port? I mean yeah they could put a USB slot on a motherboard which could only be accessed by opening up the PC? Unless by “skins” they mean a plastic wrap thing that some gamers get (similar to what you can also get for a car), in which case what is the point of the screw driver?
I am sorry but “skins” is such a odd term I have never seen before to refernce the case of a PC.
