Career Advice

I need advice on what I should do with a decision of two different job opportunities.

I have worked in IT for 7 years with solid customer service and good with solving advanced escalated Windows Workstation issues. I am about to finish up a Bachelors of Science in Cybersecurity with a 4.0 GPA. I really want to become a Cybersecurity Analyst and plan to get Security+ and CYSA+ Certifications after graduation when I have more time to study.

The company I work which is medium to large in size offered to add me as a Cybersecurity Intern for two months. I also have another non-profit company that wants to hire me as a Security Analyst, they pay at my current wage which is low for a security position.

Is an internships helpful for landing positions in Cybersecurity? (I did get into IT by getting an internship initially but im not sure if security is the same way)

Would it be smarter to take the full time security analyst job for the longer experience and then look again in a year or two?
