Caught on a spam message

Hi!
I went full dumbo mode. Got a message from a fellow photographer, saying in my native language that some person looks like me. What I did next was basically an ape move – pressed the link without even looking at what it was. Got a few almost unnoticeable redirects and landed at YT video.
It was obvious where I got caught.
Contacted the person who sent me the message. The same story – bamboozled like me. Opened the link on phone, got a bunch of pop-up pages. Closed everything fast and after a day, spamming to FB friends started.
I would love to get ahead of this.
The browser was running uBlock Origin and AdBlock. OS with only Windows Defender.
Did a full offline scan with the defender. I Downloaded McAfee, which I found out was a mistake, so right now I’m doing a scan with Kaspersky.
Checked the link everywhere that I could, but I lack knowledge about these things.
