I am interested in joining the cyber security business market after seeing how much the total cost of education compared to the job market looks great but there are so many options for cyber security education that I am at an impasse on which route I should take to get into the field. A little bit of information about myself, I currently am I Nursing major trying to get into a BSN program but the cost of admission and education is too much (around 90k for 2 years of nursing school left). But UC Riverside offers a cyber security bootcamp for 6 months for 10k and I also found out about a similar program offered by Intelipaat that costs way less and potentially has the same benefits as the previous bootcamp.
My question to people who already are in the industry or have taken something similar- Is it worth taking these online courses? Will I actually find a job as a cyber security analyst with the education provided from these programs? What is the best way to get into the field?
