Cybersecurity undergraduates, what’s your plan for future?

Hello fam,

First time posting here, I’m just a student who is following cyber security major in a third world country, and im curious to know if anyone here who is following same major as me, what’s their plans for their future? Are you continue to study up to Masters in cybersecurity or in any other field? Do you have something to share with others that’s good to know but most of us are unaware of? Appreciate if you do.

Additionally, I would like to know if anyone have found or heard of a good career pathway for cyber security roles that most undergraduates not aware of it, please be kind to state here, as it is a worth a lot for me and others like me too.

Thank you and stay safe!

(sorry if my English is horrible, please ask if you still don’t have idea of what I’m asking for.. thank you again)

I’m getting a bachelors in cybersecurity. I’m done is August. I don’t think masters is worth while no offense to anyone that has one.

I already have an internship I’m doing now and have a company I’m interviewing with for second interview on Monday.

If all that falls through I think there are a few ways you could go that would help.
1. Make a really good resume and learn how to interview well. Only way your going to get called.
2. Apply to work in a lower position at a big company and work your way up.
3. Apply for internship and see if they hire you full time.
4. Get certifications. They add to your resume and make you look better.
