Ddos attacked

I just got ddos attacked by a person I know since we are both in a complicated situation which caused us to have a fight. Once when we were stil “friends” he sent me a link and that’s how he got my ip address from. He just tried to log in to my psn and just after hit me with a ddos attack. Is there any way to change my op address so i can stop getting ddos attacked?

Disconnect your router….with some ISPs it can be a few minutes, but others can take 24 hours. Power it back on and you’ll be good to go until you open the next boobie trapped email from you friend.

Yes you would have to call your ISP and have them do it.

Depending on your ISP, unless you have a business account your IP is not static. The lease life differs greatly between ISP’s. But generally you need to disconnect your modem and wait.

Unless you gave your friend your IP recently, chances are it has already changed…

You gave him (or he has access to) your public IP address? Ouch. But try using a VPN.
