Is it possible to deny Access to all users and system on windows 10 from writing any data to the system partition? Effectively making the OS amnesic just like tails. If this is not the right forum to be posting this is I apologize and would be interested in knowing the correct forum to post this on thanks.

I could be wrong, but I believe many services would fail to start or would crash if you didn’t allow system to have write access.

The kernel would manage that so I don’t see how you would stop the system from allowing itself to write? As for users that is more than possible to do on Linux by making modifications to the kernel however on windows, you’d have to modify the os image. Another option would be to write a driver for the hard drive to intercept the system calls to the hardrive on windows. I saw that for Microsoft’s version control to abstract the filesystem to allow terrabytes to “fit” onto a local git repo
