So I’m thinking of downloading a bot for an online game. It is a paid software (subscription based), and there is a good number of users actively using it (they have an active forum).
However, this is the VirusTotal scan: [https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/de17d347f8c8251023535f74e7aaabda33ea6c1d2f113c9155ebd60d49153cc1/detection](https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/de17d347f8c8251023535f74e7aaabda33ea6c1d2f113c9155ebd60d49153cc1/detection)
The author claims these are false-positives. He says the bot needs to modify other processes’ memory to work, hence the weird behavior.
Given that they already ask monthly payment for it and they have a decent user base, I would be inclined to go ahead and use it, but I’m still a bit skeptical. What do you think?
oh fuck, god no that isn’t a false positive DELETE IT NOW!
