I stupidly downloaded some program that I needed and it turned out to be counterfeit or something and it loaded my pc with trash/trojans. Windows defender blocked most and after scanning multiple times with windows defender and malwarebytes it was almost back to normal.

However 1 file that I saw in task manager before everything got quarantined is still in my programdata folder, and as long as this file remains new ‘threats’ keep popping up in a malwarebytes scan.. I can’t delete the file itself because somehow I don’t have the privileges? as if it’s a windows file..

After reading online for other removers I tried hitmanpro and it was the only antivirus that finally detected this file, but it told me to reboot to remove.

However upon boot I get a message that says hitmanpro #1 fail (link to the file) <0xc0000022>
and the file is still there, and new threats still keep popping up when I scan with malwarebytes after a boot.

Is my pc completely fcked? Or is there still some way to get rid of this? Luckily I backed up most important files very recently, but it’s just such a hassle to completely reinstall windows and all programs with all settings how I had them, all games with specific mods etc.
If somebody can help i’d appreciate it
