I’m in Toronto, Canada. A few funny things have happened lately with my home network.
1. [minecraft.net](https://minecraft.net) keeps changing to use the language settings “zh-hans”. No matter what I do it keeps switching back to “zh-hans”.
2. The Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, and Atmosphere (three Canadian retailers, actually the same company) websites don’t work. I’ve tried multiple devices. If I switch my internet to use my cell phone they all work fine. When using my home internet, the message I receive on [sportchek.ca](https://www.sportchek.ca) is “SORRY, THIS SERVICE IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE”.
My IP address is still a local Canadian IP address. I don’t see any unknown devices on my wifi network. My internet isn’t slow. I have not experienced any malware or unknown programs on my computer or anything else. No viruses. Just these two weird things that causes me to believe that some websites don’t think I’m located where I should be.
Thoughts?
Edit: Fixed website URLs.
What are you using for DNS? Maybe try 8.8.8.8. Or Cloudflare, etc?
