I’m a senior in final year of uni. I got a job interview for a Senior Threat analyst position and the only csec experience I have is a SOC analyst internship this past summer. The job duties seem similar to what I did at my internship. But getting offered a senior position straight out of college? Seems a bit strange.

This is first place to offer interview out of 74 applications I’ve put in and obviously I’m gonna keep applying. But how common is this?

take it, get experience, gain perspective and the best time to look for a job is when you have one.

If you can get it, take it. All security titles are more or less made up anyway.
