So I am currently working as a software developer and I can not see myself debugging and fixing errors for the rest of my life. Right now I am considering getting into Cyber Security with a focus on Ethical Hacking. I want to do something more interesting and where I can possibly make a difference and have a purpose.
I am trying to decide whether I should:
1. Join the Military for a few years and gain experience in cybersecurity AND go back to college for a degree in Cyber Security and have my degree paid for
2. Not join the military and just Go back to school and get another degree in cybersecurity but have debt (I currently do not have any loans)
3. At home study and focus on the certifications (I know I need certain certifications anyway but I prefer to be in a class setting so this is personally not ideal for me)
If there are any other suggestions please feel free to share.
