How to format and be sure that the info in that particular disk can’t be accessed later?

Recently the disk on my lap’work got full, so I ask to change the disk with the hope to keep the old disk but my boss ask for him (as a backup or reviewing it or gossip I guess… and I have personal info and other sensitive data there).

I tried to find a factory-disk, buy and give it as my “old-disk” but seems like that particular model doesn’t sell to individual, just for OEMs (NVMe CL1-3D512-Q11 NVMe SSSTC 512GB for Dell Latitude 5420).

So, I would like to know if:

1.- There’s a safety way to clear, format and left the disk as a new without letting anybody access to that info even after the format?

2.- There’s is a way to buy that particular SSD?

Thanks and all the comments/questions are welcome.
