HSBC website *seems* to let me through without actually filling in 2FA. Is security broken, or does it somehow actually recognize my private session, despite claiming otherwise?
The video is a little choppy because of minimal video-editing skills for censoring, but this is a new Private window in Safari.
I am on a device that _should_ be recognized, however HSBC annoyingly prompts me as if I’m not almost every time. Recently, I discovered that even if I don’t enter anything and just refresh the page, I still can get in.
So, I tried from a private window. What I am not clear about is whether the private window still retains existing cache or cookies. If so, then that explains how I get in (and just an annoying message).
I am curious if others have had this problem too.
Also note, I have tried contacting HSBC about this and even sent this this video a week ago and they have not responded.
