i sometimes hear high-pitched sounds but only if im in a certain position. what is this a sign of? should i be worried?

From your computer?  It’s probably nothing to worry about; computer fans run all the time, and sometimes they make funny sounds.  You might blow it out with airduster if you have any (or blow into it hard, either directly or through a straw).  Sometimes they get clogged up with dust.
