Interesting virus behavior? or hardware malfunction?

So recently my windows defender had a hit for something. it said it was a keylogger but it took care of it quickly.

However, since then I don’t know if it’s a virus or my faulty keyboard, but something is “hiding” any active window that I select (win 10).

no matter what that window is, even explorer.exe, it’ll hide it. the program is still running in the background. because if it hides Spotify or media player, the sound is uninterrupted. so the file is still running.

so when I select a window and make it focused in about 3-5 seconds it’ll be hidden. only focused windows get targeted. if I deselect it before 3 seconds it won’t be hidden.

right mouse click also doesn’t appear to work once it gets explorer.exe hidden.
I can’t go to task manager and restart explorer and if works for 3-5 seconds before getting caught.

also it can’t seem to hide the task manager, I can keep that window active without it disappearing.

malwarebytes, windows defender, spybot etc. none find any Trojans or viruses.

has anyone seen this before ?
