Is anyone else seeing an anomalous increase of Mirai Botnet traffic from Century link?

  3. Is anyone else seeing an anomalous increase of Mirai Botnet traffic from Century link?

I have seen an increase of inbound mirai botnet detections in the last day, a commonality is century link networks as the source. Anyone else seeing this? Did they recently acquire recycled ranges that used to be Mirai or something?

I should also note, it looks like shotgun blasts, doesn’t appear targeted.

Edit:
It almost looks like a bunch of dynamic allocations with residential IOTs went live suddenly maybe?
