Is it cyber security or cybersecurity?
Colloquially, they have no little to no difference.
Maybe to an engineer who fancies themself a linguist, but not to most, and certainly not to the general public.
Both have meaning and also depends on who you ask. “cyber security” refers to the security of cyber assets i.e., data, networks, bits and bytes and 1’s and 0’s. “Cybersecurity” is a more broad term and refers to all the things, systems, assets, physical pieces that need to be secured. I’m butchering this but hopefully this gets the convo going.
P.s., totally prepared for my response to be picked apart.
