Is it worth it to do a certificate program in Cybersecurity with a Bachelor of commerce

I am currently in an undergrad program called BTM which is a mix of business and IT however my degree is a bachelor of commerce. We cover cybersecurity in this program but don’t get deep into it. I really want to get into the cybersecurity field and my university also offers a certificate program for Cybersecurity, Data Protection, and Digital Forensics however I would have to dedicate a lot of time and money to this which would potentially delay my graduation.

I am wondering if I should go for this certification program or just go the cheaper and faster route with certifications like Security+ to try to get into the industry.

Any advice would be appreciated.
