It cannot stop, but it’s critical to at least ensure the bulk of your users are aware of the threats.

Most users don’t even know that things CAN be a threat. “ohmygawd they can hack you through email?!” is something I hear almost monthly.

Will that stop them from clicking on the promise of a free $500 amazon gift card? No, not all of them.

That’s where the administrative controls (education) ends and the technical controls (AV, zero trust solutions, etc) begin. Which is kinda what the article recommends focusing more on.
