I still have like 2 years from finishing my university, but I got really lucky and landed an IT security trainee/intern job at a huge company in my country. The wage is very low, but I don’t think i will be thrown in the deep water in the first days and I think it will be just a step on my career ladder. What I want to use this internship though is to get to know how these huge companies and cybersecurity in them works, so with this experience later i could apply for a better paying job.
What should I look out for and what parts of networking should I focus on?
Id like to point out that my fields of study is economy/corporate IT so i dont have a big background in networking, i just know the basic stuff, such as ftp, osi, tcp etc.
