Lets say that you bought monero using a stolen credit card for a burner wallet (wallet 1) and you sent the monero you bought from wallet 1 to your main wallet (wallet 2), then you deleted the burner wallet. Can authorities find wallet 2 and link it back to you?

You can’t delete transactions. That’s one of the points of blockchain if I’m not mistaken. So even if you delete the fraud wallet, the history is there on your main wallet. How easily it can be traced back to you I am not sure on.
