Looking for incident or threat data with attack vector for project

I’m looking for a good source for incident or threat data for a very amateur school data analysis project. I’m essentially trying to find a data source that lists cyber incidents or known threat with their attack vector (i.e. “ransomware, malware, phishing” etc) or some of the key factors in an incident (attack vector, tactic etc). Ideally over a period of multiple months or the last couple years. I’m hoping to do some very basic analysis of the data for trends in attacks/incidents over time.

I suppose the end goal would be to show the change in cyber attack vectors or threat types over time. The intent being to provide cybersecurity leaders with some insight into emerging threats.

I’m struggling to find a useful data source but I feel like I’m overlooking something obvious. I’ve become familiar with plenty of open source threat intel feeds but it seems kind of hard to extract a story from that type of data more or less (raw IOCs etc.).

I appreciate any ideas or data sources that might fit what I’m looking for!

Look at the MITRE ATT&CK matrices. Their site shows specific attack vectors used by known APTs and other malicious entities.
