Hi All

I connected an NTFS drive to my Mac and ran avast free scan. A Trojan was detected but it couldn’t clean the virus due to the NTFS file system. I disconnected the drive and my Mac shut down abruptly. when I booted back into to Big Sur I left the drive unplugged and loaded my ubuntu VM so I could remove the trojan from the NTFS usb.

I have run Bitdefender and avast scans on my Mac system and both came back clean. Any possibility my Mac could be infected?

Do you know what kind of file it was? Do you remember the detection name?
