So I recently got the Malwarebytes Premium Trial, and before that I was just running Windows Antivirus and the free version of MWB, never having any issues with virus’, since I’m careful of what sites I visit and what I download. Only addon I have on Firefox is uBlock Origin.
All full scans of my computer have always come out clean.
Instantly when I got the trial, I keep getting these alerts of “RTP detection” Inbound connection with a category of “Trojan”. I get these website blocks a couple times a day, even though my internet behavior has not changed at all. Now I’m 99,9% sure, that the computer I’ve managed to keep virus free for half a decade, has nothing malicious on it, and the sites that I’m visiting are perfectly safe.
Is this actually keeping me safe from something, or is it creating a big fuss over nothing, possibly to try and get me to pay for the product after the trial? There is just no way, that my computer would be getting a few Trojans per day without MWB Premium.
