Masters School selection

Hi everyone,

I am a sophomore at the Schreyer Honors College of Penn State currently majoring in cybersecurity (B.S). As I am in the honors program, I have the option to pursue a +1 program that gives me a bachelors and masters in 5 years. I know that if I complete my regular b.s in 4 years and then apply to grad school, I will be a competitive applicant for M.S programs in cybersecurity such as at Brown and John Hopkins. However, this would be an extra 2 years of school I would have to go through as opposed to the +1 year at psu shc. My end goal is to become a CISO at a company. Would you recommend me doing the +1 program at Penn State SHC or would you recommend taking the extra year to get an M.S from a more prestigious school like Brown and JHU? Will a higher ranked school make it easier for me to eventually become a CISO? I know experience is more important in the security field but I just wanted to get a professionals recommendation.
