Planning to change career. I am in my mid-’30s and currently a chef with no background in IT. I just got accepted at the University of Arizona for their Online BAS Cyber Operations Defense and Forensics Emphasis. It is NSA Accredited, and they require 60 credits before they admit you, which means only 60 credits left to finish the degree.
This is the curriculum, https://cyber-operations.azcast.arizona.edu/content/defense-and-forensics-schedule
I also applied to Arizona State University for their Online BS in IT. It is ABET Accredited. I’m still waiting for their acceptance or rejected letter.
What you could see about each program? Which one do you think would be best for employers? Does it matter if it’s ABET or NSA Accredited, alumni network, and reputation? I am aware I could just self-study, planning to get a few certificates and do an internship or coop.
Forgot to mention, I’m from Canada. But planning to move anywhere after I finish the degree.
