Network attack update

Keeping it as short as possible

I have a server directly connected to my router that creates its own hotspot.

I stupidly leaked those credentials (un and pw) through a screenshot I sent to somebody last week. This morning (4am and 5am) I receive two notifications from my firewall saying “network attack blocked” with the blocked IP listed. The IP is from Europe, I am in the US.

I went ahead and changed all (wifi and hotspot) credentials and my computers and systems show no signs of tampering.

Although I’m glad the firewall is doing its job, you can see why I believe it was targeted.

Is there a way to obfuscate this device from others attempting to connect to it again? Was changing the credentials enough?
