I realize this has been asked a thousand times and there are arguments for both. I have only taken a couple IT classes a couple years ago and now have been enrolled with Cybrary for a month. Ive just gotten through the beginning courses for SOC analyst and now about to start the SEC + 501 course. They only seem to have the 501 course up , which is a little disheartening. Seems as though I would learn more with taking the 601 exam and obviously be up to date. With me being so new , should I take the 501 or 601 ..? If i take the 601 route , I plan on using the Ian Neil’s 601 book, Dion’s Udemy class and Professor Messer’s videos/notes. Thank you.
Take the 601, there’s only a small difference.
I recommend a course on Udemy by Jason Dion
