Hi, my employer offers tuition reimbursement and I’m currently getting my MBA online (IU Kelley School of Business).
I’m interested in getting a Masters in Cybersecurity afterwards and am considering multiple programs. I work in Business Develpment for a manufacturer of electronic security equipment and have no desire to get into the DevOps side of the business. Looking for something that will challenge me but don’t want to get into a program designed for developers, so something more in the lines of a Policy track than an Information Security track.
As a result, for an online Masters of Cybersecurity, I’m considering Georgia Tech Cybersecurity (Policy Track), Indiana University Cybersecurity Risk Management, Georgetown Cybersecurity Risk Management, and Boston College Cybersecurity Policy & Governance. Looking into NYU as well.
Considered Johns Hopkins, but each of the tracks at Johns Hopkins looks like they would be much too technical for me, and considered Brown, but the cost of their cybersecurity program was $110k when my tuition reimbursement maxes out at $65k for a master’s degree.
My employer has a few partner schools, one of which, Fairfield University, offers a master’s in cybersecurity.
Any other suggestions or feedback on the programs above? Thank you!
