Hey guys, I saw a post regarding different option in no, but it was a bit dated.
I’m wanting to change career and was planning on a credit transfer into ou cybersec.
I recently read Jessica Barker’s book and she outlined different ways to do it and the idea that you don’t necessarily need a degree. Though I’m doubtful, in ni that piece of paper means a lot even of the course isn’t the best way.
I’ve looks at security plus, however I’m not sure if this is meant to be a follow on with a degree?
My background is social sciences (sadly) which has its part to play in cyber sec. I have been tinkering with computers since I was a child and am fairly proficient.
As a stepping stone, I started a few udemy courses on python and cyber sec. Just for my own peace of mind.
Can anyone outline a realistic pathway into this?
I would plan to do it part time, who can afford to drop everything, right?
Cheers in advance
