There’s a lot of talk on Infosec Twitter about the OSCP and the company behind it, Offensive Security. As an alternative, Heath Adams @ cybermentor created an alternative to the OSCP called the PNPT. For more, here’s a link:
My question is, will the PNPT become a legit challenger to the OSCP? Obviously the OSCP has more time in the industry, more people know and respect it, so the feeling is probably that the OSCP is better, but the PNPT is designed purely to simulate a real-world pen-test, in some ways more-so than the OSCP.
What are your thoughts?
