For larger enterprises that have split networks, enterprise wifi, that allows access to internal resources, and public wifi for guests, do any of you block random (anonymous) mac addresses via dhcp ?

There could be a case made to block them on enterprise wifi, even if the device has MDM and meets the device security reqs.

On the guest wifi, it matters less.

Could there be a case made for blocking these because of the very slight chance of the mac address showing up and any associations being made with this device that should not have been made ?

Mac addresses should never be trusted. It’s not worth blocking or allowing based on them.
