Question about Virus Total false positives.

Wanted to check out configuredefender earlier today and put it on virus total. It had 2 scans come back red. One of them was an unknown av and the other was malwarebytes. It said the file was malware.heur. something with numbers. So I scanned the file with KVRT and Malwarebytes and the file was clean. I check virus total again about 15 mins later and the detection on virustotal from malwarebytes was gone. I’m assuming it was a false positive? Pointless to link it now because it shows up clean except for that one unknown av. Are false positives really that common? I’m assuming heur is some ai detection?

Heur is an AI detection it stand for heuristics, and yes false positives are that common but i would say this makes sense as it is something thats messing windows defender so it would make sense it was flagged.
