I have a NAS that I’ve set up using a raspberry pi and Open Media Vault, and am using it at college connected to the campus network on ethernet. Everything’s worked fine, but just now when I went to access the drive from my computer it was no longer mapped on file explorer and I saw that there were two random application files that were copied to the nas folder, one 30mins after the other. They’re named just “DbaHjBtu” and “CBEgsVuA”. Scanning them with my antivirus comes back with it being a ‘threat’. Any idea if these are safe, or what they even are, or how they ended up on there? I have my drive password protected and everything which is that much more unsettling if somehow someone accessed it to copy these files. Or are they just something related to OMV and I can just delete them or not worry about it?
