First post! Woohoo!

I’m a brand spankin’ new cybersecurity engineer, and I just started my first job at a startup after graduating from a bootcamp. I have been charged with researching and implementing an EDR for our endpoints (a total of about 50). I’ve been doing loads of research and comparisons, and I’ve pretty much narrowed down my search to SentinelOne and Crowdstrike. I’ve seen other comparisons done here, but none of them really dug too much into why (a lot of “Option A…hands down”) and I couldn’t find too many references to super small companies.

Which do think might be the best solution for a small company with just me as the only dedicated cybersecurity employee, keeping in mind that I’m super new to all of this.

Also, the resources posted here have been invaluable to me and reading all of your posts has made me excited about my career change! Thanks for the help.

I like SentinelOne much better. Crowd strike is good, but for ease of deployment and ease of use SentinelOne really can’t be beat.

I went through the same thing. Opted for SentinelOne. Love it.
