This is regarding apps and websites that offer:

Sign in with google, Apple, etc

When that website is compromised, would my google or apple sign in password be stolen as well or are those more secure than using a password manager and complex password with email sign up?

Thanks in advance.

If you use apple to sign in to mysite.com, then if mysite.com gets compromised, your password is still safe.

But if apple gets compromised, then everything you sign into with apple is also compromised.

You’re effectively making Apple your “all my eggs in one basket” password.

So at minimum, you need a unique, lengthy, and complex password for that service, with MFA enabled in every place it’s allowed or offered.
