So I’m starting school this fall for computer networking and security (3 years) then may complete an accelerated bachelor in computer science (12 months)

First year will be heavy on networking fundamentals, Linux, windows and routing and switching. Should I get a head start on networking fundamentals and Linux? I have zero knowledge of the two



While it would never hurt to learn proactively outside of schooling, you’ll be spending the time in your courses learning these concepts and systems from the ground up. Just be sure to work hard and ask questions when you aren’t grasping things fully, and I guarantee you’ll be fine.
