My wife just graduated with a Masters Degree in Cybsersecurity, and she is currently on the job market. One of our requirements as a married couple as that neither of us will work jobs that require overnight shift work, work holidays, and maybe an occasional weekend. For me, I work 9-5, never on weekends or holidays, so we are trying to keep our schedules in sync. I know that there are a lot of “shift work” cybsersecurity jobs out there, but are there any specific positions that she should be looking for that offer a standard 9-5 weekday work week? We want to make sure no one is wasting each other’s time during the hiring process.

Sometimes it seems cyber security is becoming the great equalizer.

Anyone else remember doing what you had to do and hours that you didn’t want to work but knew you had to?

What online university did she “graduate” from?

Generalist security management jobs are the most 9-5. In an actual company. None of that consultant mess.
