I (22 M) made a post a few days ago asking for advice on if I should just focus on school right now and not focus on work as much, or if I should work full-time and take a couple classes each semester.
An overwhelming majority of you guys emphasized how great it is to have a Bachelor’s, and that it’s better to get it early. Although I really want to start making more money and gain more work experience, I decided to take your guys’ advice on finishing my degree ASAP. So I upped my number of classes per semester and will take about 4-5 during summer, and will finish in 1 1/2 years instead of 2. I’m embracing this as my full-time effort and would feel super accomplished if I earn my Bachelor’s before I turn 24. The degree I earn from my school should definitely provide me with an immediate great job opportunity so I’m stoked to see what i can do.
Anyway, thanks for your advice and talking some sense into me. This is part of what this sub is for.
