I have 23 years of experience in Networking (Cabling, Windows OS Deployment and Admin) i got into Cybersecurity by a fluke. I have done certification to beef up my confidence and knowledge, but i have started to think i lack some basic skills. I have taken and passed Sec+ CySA+ and CISSP. I started to teach Sec+ certification to friends as a way to keep expanding my knowledge. Some have gotten jobs and are certified too. I keep feeling like i am struggling, especially now that i have this guy (a Pythonista) that seems to know more, (new to Cybersecurity) as a manager and he’s being obnoxious with his knowledge.
