Uninstalling unnecessary linux services

Obviously as we all know, keeping only what you need on your system is an important part of security. Anyone know if there’s a easier way of uninstalling unnecessary Linux services? Like is there a list of known unnecessary services or something? Because I was going through my services and there’s a lot of stuff in here that im not sure if they are needed or not. For example, In a VM I uninstalled Libre office related programs and it destroyed the system. It would be easier if there was a list of bloatware that I would be safe to uninstall.
